Take a moment …

Take a moment. Stop. Observe. Listen. Take a deep breath in. Let it go, slowly. Notice what is going on around you. Sit, if you can. Slip your shoes off, if you can. Wriggle your toes. Stop your busyness. Stop the thoughts.

Take a moment to look around you. Notice what you see. What you hear. What you feel. The breeze on your skin. The brightness of the sun. The quietness, or the noise. Perhaps the chirp of a bird or the laughter of a child.

Take a moment to just be. Just be in the present. Be in this moment, right now. Close your eyes and listen. Take a deep breath in. And then let it go. Let all your worries in that moment go with it.

Ahhhhh, that’s better. Serenity amongst the chaos. Feel your shoulders drop slightly. Feel your body relax, just a little. Continue to breath then open your eyes. Be back in the world. This reality, but remind yourself that you can escape it whenever you want. Even if it’s just for a moment.
